Linda Merritt
Linda is Director of NelsonHall's HR Outsourcing program with global responsibility for the development and delivery of NelsonHall's HRO research and advisory services. Linda joined NelsonHall in 2009 and brings extensive leadership experience in HR services and business process outsourcing.
For 6 years Linda was an AT&T HR Director leading a team responsible for the governance, contract, financials and HR services delivery of AT&T's major multi-process outsourcing engagement with Aon Human Capital Services. The pioneering partnership received the 1st "HRO Relationship of the Year" award in the Financial & Business Services Sector at the 2004 HRO World.
Linda was one of the founding leaders of the HRO Buyers Group with members from the top 50 U.S. and global deals. A member of the HR Outsourcing Association's Board of Trustees and Chair of the HROA's Standards Committee, Linda was honored to receive the Valued Contributor award at the 2008 HRO Summit.
After leaving AT&T with 25 years of service, Linda was a consultant helping buyers improve HRO business value and performance while lowering the total cost of ownership.
Linda holds a BA degree in Industrial Communications and Training from St. Ambrose University and she is a frequent international guest speaker and lecturer and has written articles for, and been interviewed by leading industry publications, including HRO Today, Workforce and the HR Planning Society.
