NelsonHall Launches BPO Executive Briefings Service
by Howard Spode
NelsonHall has launched a BPO Executive Briefings service as a key part of its advisory offerings to buy-side organizations.
NelsonHall's new BPO Executive Briefings are structured sessions facilitated by NelsonHall that enable an executive team within an organization to:
-
Deepen their understanding of key core sourcing concepts and approaches
-
Update themselves on the current status of and developments in BPO markets
-
Develop outline strategic responses and agree the appropriate next steps
Each session is tailored according to the needs of the organization in question (for example, is the organization contemplating BPO for the first time, or is it seeking to extend/improve its current arrangements?), but the design process starts from a proven standard template that lasts half a day and combines presentation, discussion and structured interaction, with the agenda following the above three objectives.
The senior team participating in the event may be the Board, the dedicated Sourcing Team, a senior management group within a particular function, or some other relevant group or combination of groups.
The sessions draw on both NelsonHall's research and consulting competencies - they are facilitated by Howard Spode, Managing Director of NelsonHall Advisory Services and John Willmott, CEO of NelsonHall. Howard is a highly-experienced management consultant and outsourcing practitioner. Since the mid-nineties, he has gained direct experience of every stage of the BPO life-cycle, from sourcing strategy and business case development, through solution design, procurement and contracting, to transition, operations and service transformation. John is a world-renowned BPO analyst and the founder, a decade ago, of NelsonHall.
