The i3 transformation plan, which has an emphasis on "intimacy, industrialization and innovation", continues to guide Capgemini's strategic direction towards its 2010 goals.
Capgemini is partway through its i3 transformation plan, having achieved some significant milestones in 2007:
- Margin improvement to 7.4%, up from 5.8% in 2006
- Group revenue growth of 13%, with organic revenue growth of 9.0%
- North American revenue growth of 28.3% driven by the acquisition of Kanbay, against a backdrop of decline or marginal growth in previous years
- Finalizing three acquisitions:
-
- Kanbay, which made a significant contribution to Capgemini's plan to increase offshore headcount and also significantly expanded the company's offerings and capabilities for the financial services sector
- Software Architects , which enhanced the company's LPS proposition in North America with the addition of 500 personnel
- Network Consulting Group, which provided the basis of a Latin American operation with the establishment of a Buenos Aires delivery center (c. 100 personnel), and an offshore delivery location for Iberian clients.
The i3 transformation plan, which has an emphasis on "intimacy, industrialization and innovation", continues to guide Capgemini's strategic direction towards its 2010 goals.
