    In 2006 Infosys BPO established a procurement BPO practice, announcing in the October an alliance enabling it to use Ketera's on demand spend management solutions to offer procure-to-pay outsourcing services. The partnership also included jointly going to market for procure-to-pay services and collaborating in sales and marketing initiatives.

    In October 2007, Infosys BPO acquired Philips' SSCs for F&A and transactional procurement businesses in Poland, Thailand and India for $27m. This brought in a P2P transactional capability in Lodz, Poland.

    Since 2008, Infosys' procurement BPO practice has been developing its capabilities around sourcing and category management support.
