Dell has been awarded a network services contract by CarePoint Health across its 55 medical practices.

The deployment of Dell's networking solutions have reduced CarePoint Health's capital expenses by $15m. 

The services to be provided include:

  • Dell XC Web-Scale Appliances, which uses Dell x86 server platform and Nutanix Acropolis software to provide infrastructure for virtualized environments
  • Dell KACE for integration and management services
  • Dell Managed Services for the IT environment.
  • Dell MSite to securely host its MEDITECH applications
  • Dell Cloud Clinical Archive for the storage of medical imaging data from the cloud during a downtime event
  • Deploying Dell Networking switches to replace the existing Cisco network.
